Aquí tenéis una nueva entrada de algunas fotos que tengo almacenadas de figuras que ya he pintado. Pronto vendrán más aunque también más antiguas que por diferentes motivos no pude publicar antes. :(
Here you have a new post of some photos that I have stored from painted miniatures that i have painted. Soon there will be more older although for different reasons that I could not post before. :(
Esta vez se trata de una figura por encargo, la figura conmemorativa del 25 aniversario de Warhammer 40k. Acepté este reto la verdad porque creo que es mi tercera figura que pinto de 40k y realmente es la primera si no contamos las anteriores ya que fueron pintadas hace 10-15 años, antes de mi parón miniaturil.
This time it's a commission, the figure to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Warhammer 40k. I accepted this challenge because I think is my third miniature that I paint of 40k and really is the first if we do not have in count  the miniatures were painted 10-15 years ago, before my painting vacation.

Que puedo decir de la figura.... para gustos colores sin duda, pero a mi no me parece espectacular. Es cierto que le dieron ese aire retro por el tema del aniversario, sin contar el maravilloso finecast que eso si que le da aspecto antiguo.... malditos agujeros!. Cada vez que la veo me parece más una escultura que debería estar en una plaza mientras las palomas hacen sus necesidades sobre ella... es realmente estática! ( que mal acostumbrado estoy con Infinity joer >.<).

What can i say about the figure .... certainly depends ofeveryone likes, but I do not seem spectacular. It is true that they gave this retro look for the anniversary, not to mention the wonderful finecast than that if that gives antique look .... damn holes!. Every time I see its looks to me like a sculpture that should be in a square as pigeons defecate on it ... is really static! (I'm spoiled with Infinity fuck >. <).

Como podeis apreciar, los colores son similares al original ya que el cliente es el que manda xD. En un comienzo la figura debía estar pintada a una calidad media, pero mi gran defecto, el de no controlar el tiempo que le dedico a las figuras, hizo que al final le diese un poco más de caña y quedase a un nivel medio-alto.
As you can see, the colors are similar to the original and the customer is the boss xD. At first the figure should be painted in medium quality, but my great fault, is not control the time that I dedicate to the figures, in the end that make me give him a little more work and get a medium-high level.

La figura consta de 2 peanas, una tamaño normal y otra de exposición, con sus rocas ya prehechas y el estandarte. En este caso como la idea era usarla tanto para jugar como para adornar en su peana grande, lo que se me ocurrió fue pernear la figura con pernos lo suficientemente largos para que la figura pudiese engancharse en cualquiera de las dos peanas sin necesidad de loctite y esta se mantuviese en su sitio. También se me ocurrió la opción de implementar la peana pequeña en la grande pero consideré que sería demasiado trabajo.
The figure has 2 bases, one normal size and one of exhibition, with its pre-made rocks and the flag. In this case as the idea was to use both to play and to decorate in his large base, which I thought was pining the figure with pins long enough that the figure could catch on either bases without glue and this was kept in place. Also I had the option to deploy the small base in the large but felt it would be too much work.

Aproveché la ocasión para hacer mi primer MNM en colores dorados, algo que nunca había hecho porque en las figuras de Infinity como que no pega :P. También intenté mejorar un poco las luces que realizo en los rojos y estoy realmente satisfecho con ello.

En cuanto a técnica, poco que decir: 

- Capa base y primeras luces y sombras con aerógrafo.

- Degradados everywere, MNM y pincel seco para la peana.

I took the opportunity to make my first MNM golden color, something I had never done because I didnt see on figures of Infinity :P. I also tried to improve a little the lights on red I do and I'm really pleased with it.

In technical terms, little to say:
- Base layer and first light and shadow with an airbrush.
- Gradients everywere, MNM and dry brush to the base.

En definitva, un trabajo agradecido en el que me lo pasé realmente bien pintándolo.

In definitive, a  grateful work in that I had a really good time painting it.
